CARE groups

The Overland Park Church of Christ offers several CARE groups for the community. CARE Groups focus on providing support to individuals in dealing with life's problems.

C - Comfort
A - Acceptance
R - Reassurance
E - Encouragement

We currently offer CARE Groups in the following areas:

Alcoholics Anonymous CARE
The Alcoholics Anonymous group, "Pflumm Sober", meets in room 124 at the church building as follows:

Daytime Meetings:

Monday - Friday, 12 noon; Saturday, 9:30am

Evening Meetings:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday at 6:00pm

Al-Anon CARE

The Al-Anon Group is a support group for family and friends of people that are dealing with addictions. This group meets 6:00 - 7:00pm in room 118 every Thursday evening at the church building.

Divorce CARE

Come and join us to discover the peace and comfort of a CARE Group and take the next step on the road to recovery after divorce.

Parenting with Toughlove® Care Group

The CARE ministry is partnering with Toughlove® Parent Support Groups to offer a program to educate and empower parents to reach children to accept responsibility for their actions. This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in Room 211 at the church building.
