Whether you are new to Kansas City, or a long time resident, we encourage you to worship with us. Our mission is to help people journey with God through believing, belonging and blessing.

Many people in the greater Kansas City area have found that The Overland Park Church of Christ offers them an opportunity to draw close to God, to develop lasting relationships and to strengthen their families and marriages. We invite you, no matter what your church background may be, to join us and learn more about a community of people who are eager to share the excitement and hope that they have discovered at the Overland Park Church of Christ.

The Overland Park Church of Christ strives to be a church that helps people believe. Our fundamental understanding of who God is and what He expects from us comes from the Bible. We believe that the Bible is much more than an instruction book. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and a book designed by Him to develop our relationship with God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Overland Park Church of Christ also wants to help people belong. God created us all to be in community. We offer a variety of groups throughout the entire week; many are age-based, and many are not. We also share Bible studies on Sunday morning in a setting that allows interaction with people of one’s own generation and life situation.

The Overland Park Church of Christ, is dedicated to helping people bless others. We believe the blessings we receive from God should not end with us. We are blessed to help other people. We will help you assess how you have been gifted by God, and help you find an appropriate avenue for using that giftedness.
